About Pastor Nicholson

Born on February 1, 2001, in Columbia, SC, Elder Ja’Len Nicholson was nurtured in a family deeply rooted in faith, with Bishop-Elect Dr. Alfred M. Nicholson and First Lady Karen D. Nicholson as his parents. From a tender age, Pastor Nicholson felt the divine call to preach, a calling that set him apart from his peers.

On November 20, 2016, Bishop-Elect Alfred Nicholson of Gospel Faith Fellowship Church appointed and consecrated Minister Nicholson as the Youth President of the Youth Department. March 4, 2018, marked the official licensing of Elder Nicholson as a Minister, where he was entrusted with the role of Youth Minister within the Youth Department of Gospel Faith Fellowship.

In addition to his commitments to the church, Elder Nicholson has proudly served his nation as a member of the United States Air Force since June 2020. In December of 2020, amidst a global pandemic, he was ordained as an Elder and consecrated a Prophet in the Lord's church.

In February 2022 Bishop-Elect Nicholson, led by the voice of God, appointed Elder Nicholson as the Executive Pastor of Gospel Faith Fellowship. With 9 years of preaching and proclaiming the Gospel, Executive Pastor Nicholson is a sought after speaker at churches, conferences, and conventions across America. His remarkable maturity and wisdom often lead people to say, "He's been here before," as he possesses the ability to speak to the hearts of youth and individuals of all ages.

In addition to his dynamic ministry, Pastor Nicholson answered the apostolic call and founded the Refuge Church of Detroit on November 10th, 2023. Under his leadership, the church has already experienced remarkable miracles, signs, and wonders! His youthful exuberance and unwavering faith are inspiring to the body of Christ everywhere, making him an upcoming voice of inspiration in the Christian community, and a advocate for the

overlooked in the city of Detroit.
